              Creating From Quarantine

Like almost everybody else in the world, I have been in quarantine since Mid-March. We go out once a day for a walk at daybreak and spend the rest of our time at home. For me that means the studio. Luckily I had everything I needed, and in addition my niece Julia, who was sheltering with us, could serve as an in-house model.
Out of this came “Mask, Glove, and Flower.” I would love to see one day an exhibit of all the work done by all the compulsive artists who were similarly stuck at home with time on their hands.    |

View, the art center of Old Forge, NY, will present a show of forty years of Lewis Bryden's painting documenting young people at the beach and in other locations.

The exhibit will open June 5th and extend to August 2nd, 2020.
